Review

I'm a little pissed today. I HATE MY MP3 PLAYER. For all you out there that may be thinking I need a new one stay away from RCA OPAL. Mine keeps freezing up on me and the only way to shut it down is with a shock thank God my couch has plenty of that. I've tried to get help with it and all I get is nothing. I do all the things they told and it still does it. Next time I will spend the extra money and get a better one. What good it a player with all this wonderful memory if it only plays the same songs. I had a WALKMAN and I loved it, but I upgraded to one with more memory should have stuck with a brand I really liked. Now I need to look and find something that has 8 or more GB. So if any of you all know of a good brand please let me know. AAARRRGGGHHH you not going to believe this it just did it to me again while I was writing this. I can't win with this thing. Well wish me luck on my hunt for a new one.

I won this from Beneath My Heart I was happy that I won this I knew I wouldn't be able to get my daughter anything for Mothers Day from K (like I've said before Wate is not big on gift giving) Now she has something really nice to give her Mom. The necklace is from Lisa Leonard Designs she has some beautiful stuff I so wish I had the money I would just go broke. I can hardly wait for mothers day Valondra is going to love it.

Time

Were does it go I had so many plans for this weekend. I wanted to get more done than I have. This is my weekend to do whatever. So many things are just not working my way. Did that ever happen to you, you plan and nothing goes right. I have even been lazy with my blog I'm working on two just haven't finished them. But you know what really sucks is that has been going on for a few weeks ever since the trial. I don't know but I better get out of this slump soon or I'm going to go nutso. Here is what I did get done. Melted some records got the idea from Homemade Mamas only thing is she said 8-10 mins I'm thinking my oven runs hotter cause I left it in 3 min and that was just right.

Then I made a drying rack for my Mod Pogde lanterns I have more glass jars than I can ever use. We'll see what we can do with them who know maybe they will make good gift what do you think Val?

I'll post pics as soon as I get my first set done.

Confessions

OK I have a confession I have broke the law, copyright law that is. Yes I have infringed. I have been a busy little girl. I made a video put it on YouTube so my family and friends could see and my music was blocked. I took it down cause it's just not fun without the music. Some on YouTube said we should keep our blocked videos up as a shame on WMG since they are the ones who don't want you to use their music. So this is what I have done. I have been playing my music loud so that others can hear, I have been listening to music with friends that I bought for me. And believe it or not that is a violation of copyright. I have always paid for my music or got it free from some promotional things. I never did files sharing with music, but I will tell you the way WMG is acting I don't know. I think that this decision will come back to bite them in the butt. I know I will think twice before buying a song that is WMG. It's sad that this is the way it is WMG needs to wake up and get with it things change. I can understand if I was making money on an add or something, but I'm just a Mom trying to enhance my family videos, I guess I'll just have to send my family the video I made but even that is a violation. I guess they will do what they feel they have to.
Guess what else I did I bought some movies and had some friends over and we watched them. I also borrowed some movies from a friend that I plan on watching. I've been a bad girl. I copied some crochet patterns without permission (it's easier to read them on paper than the computer). I'm copying some recipes as well. I guess I'm really bad maybe I should hang my head in shame.

We the jury

Well I'm done we came to a verdict on Fri. The case was a 1st degree murder case, and the defendant was found guilty.
I will tell you this has been a wonderful experience. To see the process from beginning to end has been great and if any of you get the chance to serve do so without complaint and it will go better for you. Now when I say wonderful that's not to say that it was happy go lucky, it wasn't, what I mean is that the growth and experience was wonderful. It wasn't easy finding someone guilty of murder. But the evidence pointed to only one person. The growth I have experienced was amazing maybe that's why I feel so emotionally drained. A lot of growing in a short period of time. One of the things I learned is I'm truly blessed. I have a lot to be thankful for. My relationship may be few but they are deep and true. My life may not be as full as some think it should be but it's honest. I'm very grateful for this experience and will never forget it. I guess in some way I owe the defendant a thank you for helping me see how truly wonderful my life is. I guess like the old saying goes "there but for the grace of God, go I". I think I will be living my life a little different I hope that it sticks. If any of you have questions about the trial just ask.
Now I can get back to my blog, giving toys, crocheting, sewing, taking pictures, I hope to get caught up this week. Thanks to all of you out there. I love you all.
