I love Chick-fil-a it is one of the only places that doesn't upset my tummy. They use real chicken. Today was they day to show our support for this great company. I was surprise to see how many people showed up in our little town. I think every one in town showed up. It was standing room only it was great.
While camping we were able to be in a place that had a good view of the eclipse. One of the other campers named Gil Leigh took these and gave me a copy of them. He had a special lens to take them. I will share the secret the special lens was really dark sun glasses. Can you believe it I wasn't sure it would work but sure enough it did.
Well what a wonderful camping trip we had I wish it could have been longer or at least maybe being able to do it again soon. I tell you even if the camper isn't that comfortable I slept like a baby.
I think the next time we may try it without the dogs. As much fun as they are Max doesn't really like camping and we can't go looking into shops or anything.
I did learn alot this camping trip like most of the big RV's and travel trailers are full timers. As nice as it may sound I really don't think I could do what they do. Everyone at the camp site that we were at were full timers some had been on the road for 1 to 5 years. I'd like to travel around for a few months but I'd want to came back home, and I'd miss my grand kids to much. Now if I could take everyone with I could see spending more time on the road.
I'm hoping we can do this again in a few month.

Yes we are camping and we are really roughing it (not). How can you really rough it when you have a pop up, computers, and the internet. This is my first time blogging from my tablet so we'll see how it goes. I'll tell you I did feel alittle guilty about bring the hot spot (internet) until we got here and the people on both sides of us have a dish for cable. They are some of the all timers. I wish we could be an all timer maybe in a few years when Wate retires.
I recently was introduced to art journaling and I love it. I have been journaling on and off for years but to be honest it can be very dull at times. Well this sure changes things. The first person I thought of was RMKK's girls maybe they might be interested in this. I'd love to know what they think. I now have 3 journals going, soon I'll be starting a 4th. They are so much fun. I found this link really helpful in getting started. If anyone has been doing this I'd love to hear from you and see your work.
K loves it when I'm crocheting cause I let her sit on my lap let her hold on to the hook and help me crochet. I finally gave her a big hook with some yarn she wanted to make an ear like I was doing. I think it won't be long and she'll be crocheting a chain in no time. She even put all her yarn and hook away in a purse I made for her she now has her own crochet bag.
OK how many have read the books. I wasn't going to because I had only heard one thing about them that it was about children killing children for adult entertainment. Yes that is one thing that does happen in the book but not the way I thought. I read all 3 books last week only after hearing on conservative talk radio one of the callers said that these books are ones that people on the left are not going to like. I thought now I have to read them and boy am I glad I did they have been the talk of our house. Not so much the books themselves but the subject. I can hardly wait for the movie to come out on DVD. The only thing I have a problem with is for years movies when there has been a president he has been a black man now with this movie he's a white man. While reading the books I saw president Snow as a black man and yes he looked alot like you know who. As much as I enjoyed these books I will say they are not first ones like this as Laura Ingraham said this is the Red Dawn of this generation. I would say it was more like Amerika. With the way our country is going with more and more government these book are a very interesting look at what if. I would love to talk to others who have read these book you can email me or just comment let me know your thought on it.

We have been looking for a new dog and finally found one her name was Leia but we call her Leah. She is a really good dog her and Max had a rough start but now they are playing, running all over the yard, and sleeping together on his couch. I tell you we have been blessed when it comes to dogs she is so smart sits when I tell her to. She did nip when we would her a treat no more only took me 2 days to break her of that now she gentle takes it. I really think she likes it here her and Max have a good time chasing each other they take turn who will lead.The only bad thing is you want to call it that she's a licker when K and Ann are here Leah has to be in their face licking them. It's funny K yells stop Le stop, go go away. The funny thing is we have 2 grand babies 2 dogs, the dogs have pick a child to sit under at dinner time that is the nicest thing about dogs they are the clean up crew.
Looks like I need to make a run to Home Depot and make another kitchen helper. I now have two little ones that want to help Savta with everything. Got to love them.
